Roman Records is a new project, created as a documentary style audio visual journey from the beginning of ancient Roman history, proceeding in detailed chronological order to the end of the western empire.  Because of the vast amount of history spanning over 1,200 years, we expect the project will result in somewhere between 250 and 400 episodes.

Created by a small group of Roman history enthusiasts, this project is meant to be faithful to historical sources while also bringing it to life.  The earliest stories of Rome blur the lines between myth of history, but as we move forward in time the events become better documented.  We have chosen to use source material that was accepted by the Romans of the time, as well as the opinions of modern historians.

The first episodes will become available on Wednesday June 24, 2026, with an episode scheduled to follow each week thereafter.  See below for a list of upcoming episodes.  We look forward to the journey ahead!  Please check back for updates.
